Jessica Beil blames online leak for 'Powder Blue' failure

Hollywood actress Jessica Biel has blamed the failure of her movie 'Powder Blue', on the online leak of some of the film's pivotal scenes which see her topless.

Biel stripped naked for a scene in the film which has gone directly to the DVD format without getting a proper release. The scene shows her pouring hot wax on her body during a strip routine.

The images have been circulating on the Internet for months now and Biel is convinced that movie-goers lost interest in the film because the most talked-about scene has already been dissected by critics, reported ‘New York Daily News’.

"I'm bothered when scenes leak. It's disappointing how people take your work, put it on the chopping block, rip it apart and judge it. I'm like, 'Maybe you should just see the movie,'" Biel told the newspaper.

"You always take that risk, that (your film) might not go anywhere. It's rare, but it does happen. It's terrible," added the actress who is currently dating pop superstar Justin Timberlake.

The 27-year-old actress plays a strip dancer Rose Johnny in the film , which also stars Forest Whitaker, Ray Liotta, Lisa Kudrow and Patrick Swayze.
