Tunisia inspired protests in egypt threaten Mubarak


Thousand of Egyptians have vented their rage against President Hosni Mubarak's automatic government for two straight days of protest that defied a ban on public gatherings. Baton Wielding police are responded with tear gas and beatings in a crack down that has shown no tolerance for dissent.

Egypt's largest anti-government protest in years echo the uprising i Tunisia, threatening to destabilize the leadership of one of the most important US allies in the Arab world. The ability of the protester is to sustain the momentum of two days in the face of such a heavy-handed police response was a rare feat in this county.

One protester and Policeman ware killed on Wednesday, bringing the two days roll to six. some 860 people have been rounded up, and facebook, twittering and cellphone key of organizing protests have been disrupted.
